Power determines a town’s position in the ranking. Power is gained by upgrading Community Buildings.
At the end of a chapter, the leading town in each category (Economy, Military, Culture) receives a bonus.
This power can be seen as a town’s military strength. Buildings such as the Fort increase this power.
When the Royal Fleet arrives, the king will demand fewer goods if your military power is high.
The town with the highest military power at the end of a chapter will face easier pirate nests in the next chapter.
This power reflects how strong a town is in terms of trade, goods production, and wealth.
The town with the highest economic power at the end of a chapter receives an additional good in its own wholesale market.
This power helps a town develop its own identity. The more famous a town becomes for its poets, actors, politicians, and scholars, the prouder people are to live there.
All players of the town with the highest cultural power at the end of a chapter receive Reputation.
At the end of Chapter 5, the team with the most Power Points wins the game round.
